City Sim enters public beta tomorrow. This early version represents the foundation of a long‑term project, and while it will contain bugs and incomplete systems, it marks the first step toward building one of the most advanced city simulation games ever made.
At launch, City Sim will not feature high‑end graphics or premium assets. Our focus right now is on the core systems that make a modern city function: infrastructure, services, population behavior, and realistic city dynamics. As someone who grew up enjoying games like SimCity and Cities: Skylines, my goal is to push city simulation toward true realism. Visual polish will come later — the simulation comes first.
City Sim is designed to evolve over many years. We will expand its systems, improve performance, refine visuals, and grow the world week by week. If you’d like to contribute to the project, you’re welcome to join the City Sim community and post in the Help Out section of the forum.
In addition, a second project is planned for release in roughly two months: City Mayor Kingdom, built in Unreal Engine. While not the same game, it shares the same vision on a much larger scale. City Mayor Kingdom will allow players to manage multiple cities at once and will be developed on the latest versions of Unreal as they release.
Both City Sim (Unity) and City Mayor Kingdom (Unreal) will launch in early beta/alpha stages. Expect bugs, missing features, and ongoing development as each project grows into its full vision.
